SIMPLE FUTURE/FUTURE SIMPLE

Simple future atau future simple adalah tense yang menyatakan kejadian atau aktifitas pada masa depan. Tense ini selalu menggunakan tambahan kata kerja yaitu kata kerja bantu (Auxiliary verb) berupa modal auxiliary. Modal auxiliary yang sering digunakan adalah "Will/Shall".

Pola atau Bentuk kalimat present continuous tenses

Pola kalimat simple future atau future simple dibentuk dari pola Subject plus will/shall dan juga Verb-1 (bare infinitive) sebagai main verbnya atau ordinary verbnya.

Konsep dasar present continuous adalah will/shall + Verb-1 (bare infinitive)

Bentuk kalimat nominal pada simple future/future simple tense

Fungsi-fungsi pada simple future/future simple tense

• Menyatakan kejadian atau aktifitas yang akan terjadi pada masa depan.(planning)

Someone is knocking the door. I will open it.

• Menyatakan suatu prediksi (Prediction)

It will rain.
